Familiarize yourself with the pre-registration process 

For the next couple of weeks, you’ll participate in your first pre-registration cycle at Wes. Please note the pre-registration runs from 7/10 – 7/27 at 4:30 pm. You can find information about this process through resources such as our Faculty & Student Advising Handbook, Advising Guidelines, within sections of the Academic Road Map on WesPortal, and through the assistance of our wonderful Academic Peer Advisors (APAs). Discover our open curriculum 

A hallmark of a Wesleyan education is our open curriculum. We provide an education in the liberal arts that is characterized by boldness, rigor, and practical idealism. The conversations you have with your pre-major liberal arts advisor will be guided by the principles of a liberal arts education. Be sure to explore courses that excite you, challenge you, or even push you out of your comfort zone.  

Explore Student Academic Resources (SAR) Website 

Take the opportunity to learn about Academic Peer Advisors (APAs), faculty office hours, as well as support offered by writing mentors, tutors, and experienced research librarians. The Student Academic Resources (SAR) website is a valuable tool that showcases these resources, so feel free to explore and utilize them as needed.
